ADR Learning Institute has grown so much this year it was time to share the excitement and workload by hiring some staff.
In August we hired our first employee as a Part-time Education Administrative Assistant to take care of everything related to student records. She can do things in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Mail Merge that I did not know was possible.

In October we hired a Part-time Education Coordinator to take care of editing course content, booking coaches, interacting with students about course content, assignment reviews, updating content and tracking learner progress in our online school platform – eLearn.

MEET OUR LEARNER’S SUPPORT TEAM

Emily B. – Education Administrative Assistant (with the touque)
Hi there! My name is Emily and I have become a new member of the ADR Learning Institute Staff Team! Being in the service industry for 5 years, I decided I wanted a change of career. I took the Administrative Professional Program at Norquest College in September of 2019 and graduated in January of 2020! I was quickly hired by the City of Edmonton. However, I was one of the casualties of Novel Coronavirus related layoffs. I was very blessed to stumble upon ADR Learning Institute who were looking for an Admin Assistant. I started this opportunity in August 2020 and since being here, have learned many new and exciting things.

Kari Jones – BCom, Q.Med – Educational Coordinator
I am thrilled to be part of this great team and to explore and assist others in understanding all that the ADR Learning Institute has to offer. 15 years ago, I took my first ADR course at the University of Alberta. Since then my heart has always bent towards a career in conflict resolution but only in the past few years has the timing been right to move further in that direction.  Previously I worked in recruitment and training in the not-for-profit sector and after spending the past 8 years as a homemaker, I am now enjoying the juggle of young kids and re-entering the workforce during Covid! I love learning, gardening, reading, and investing time into others. I look forward to connecting with many of you in the future.
