This is a two-day introduction to Restorative Justice Principles and Theory and how those inform Restorative Practises, Processes, and Circles. On Day 1 participants can expect to explore the traditional roots of restorative relationship building, as well as the grassroots movement that brought restoration practices into mainstream justice work with victims, offenders, and communities.  There will also be an exploration of how restorative justice principles have been adapted to restoring workplace relationships. Facilitating Workplace Restoration

During this two-day workshop, Elder Vicky Whalen will provide participants with traditional indigenous circle teachings. Paula Drouin will then provide practical ways to adapt circle processes to restore post-conflict/complaint workplaces.

Workshop Design and Facilitator Training

Start of the North Retreat Centre 3 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, Alberta, Canada

This 2-day workshop will be held on Saturday September 22nd from 8:30am - 4:00pm and will continue on Monday September 24th from 08:30am - 4:00pm. You will have some work to complete between the two days of training so set some time aside on Saturday evening or Sunday. The focus will be on creating workshops for adult learners.
