BCALM© – COACHING THROUGH CONFLICT
We are honored to have Dr. Nancy Love work with us on the creation of the BCALM – Coaching through Conflict course. Nancy holds a Doctorate in Education and is a very accomplished conflict resolution course designer, trainer, and dispute resolution facilitator. She is also a certified Conflict Coach. Nancy Love and Paula Drouin have known each other for over twenty years and have worked together for over ten years. It is very exciting to be collaborating with her on the design and delivery of this course.
In conflict situations people are not always at their best. Helping them discover their own emotional and physiological responses to conflict can move them a long way toward peaceful productive lives. In this course you will learn to coach your clients to understand and approach conflict as information, from a place of curiosity rather than accusation. Shifting from the Red Zone of Fight Flight or Freeze to the Green Zone of Release, Relax and Relate. Providing them with skills to do that with others, helps everyone have conversations where heads, hearts and bodies align. Participants will learn to coach by coaching and being coached through out program. New tools and approaches are introduced at each session.
Coaching Through Conflict is one of the qualifying courses towards our ADR Practitioner Certificate program, which is a program for Mediation professionals who want to increase the services they offer and advance their credentials.
