DESCRIPTION:Course InformationPre-RequisitesScheduleRegistration Cut-Off Cancellation PolicyCourse Information \nThis is the third course of four that will make up the training required to meet the mediation course requirements toward earning our Mediation Training Certificate. It is a 22 hour course comprised of 18 hours in class plus 3 hours of asynchronous work on your own. \nThis course will focus on managing the emotional dynamic and other challenges in mediation such as\, power\, trauma and intercultural communication. It will also provide more role play practise mediating\, with the assistance of a coach\, focusing on drawing out deeper interests while managing the emotional climate. \nCourse approved by ADR Institute of Canada as recognized training towards the national designations of Qualified Mediator and Chartered Mediator. Click here for more information about national designations. \nPre-Requisites \nSuccessful completion of Mediation Foundation 1.1 and Negotiation for Mediators (or equivalent) \nSchedule \n\nThursday\, December 4\, 2025 – 3:00 – 6:00pm MT\nThursday December 11\, 2025 – 3:00 – 6:00pm MT\nThursday\, January 8\, 2026 – 3:00 – 6:00pm MT\nSaturday\, January 17\, 2026 – 9:00am – 3:00pm MT\nThursday\, January 22\, 2026 – 3:00 – 6:00pm MT\n\nCourse dates and times are based on Mountain Daylight/Standard Time and could be adjusted to best meet the time zones of the final list of participants. \nRegistration Cut-Off  \nThe idea of preventing someone from registering for a course makes us all crazy\, so we won’t do that.  However\, we need to order printing a week before the course and make final decisions about the number of coaches to bring in\, and confirm the size of the classroom being rented.  Therefore\, we hope you will register as soon as possible (knowing we’ll be kind and easy to deal with if you have to cancel) and in exchange\, we will keep registration open until the day before the course.  We will shut off online course registration a week before\, however you can just give us a call at 780-460-7599 or send an email to admin@adrlearninginstitute.ca to register.  We will confirm your registration and make sure we have all the materials you will need when you arrive on the course date. \nCancellation Policy \nWe know life happens.  Sometimes schedules change or the universe interferes with your plans.  Please provide us with as much notice as possible so we can provide you with a full refund and hopefully fill your spot.  If the universe doesn’t let you know until five or less days before the course\, then we will give you a full credit towards another course which you\, or someone you choose to transfer it to\, can use within a year.  If your financial situation is such that you just really need the money to be put back into your account\, then give us a call and we will provide a refund less any admin costs incurred through Pay Pal or Invoicing. \n \n\nCost: $975.00 +tax\nApproval to register is required by ADR Learning Institute.  Completion of pre-requisites has to be confirmed prior to registration.
