Understanding how investigation is different from mediation and other ADR process options will help mediators be clear on the lane they are working in\, and how to explain to participants the options available to them when they have a complaint about a co-worker or supervisor. Understanding the formal processes will help the ADR Practitioner deeply understand the spectrum of options available. \nTopics include: \n\nUnderlying Principles\nScope\nPlanning\nCollecting information\nInterviewing\nAnalyzing\nWriting the Findings\n\n3-Day Course\n\nSaturday\, December 19\, 2020\nSunday\, December 20\, 2020\nMonday\, December 21\, 2020\n\nPre-requisites \nEnrolled in the Mediation Certificate program; or a graduate of mediation training; or approval to register by Paula Drouin\, ADR Learning Institute. Click here to email contact Paula. \nRegistration Cut-Off  \nThe idea of preventing someone from registering for a course makes us all crazy\, so we won’t do that.  However\, we need to order printing a week before the course and make final decisions about the number of coaches to bring in\, and confirm the size of the classroom being rented.  Therefore\, we hope you will register as soon as possible (knowing we’ll be kind and easy to deal with if you have to cancel) and in exchange we will keep registration open until the day before the course.  We will shut off online course registration a week before\, however you can just give us a call at 780-460-7599 or send an email to admin@adrlearninginstitute.ca to register.  We will confirm your registration and make sure we have all the materials you will need when you arrive on the course date. \nCancellation Policy \nWe know life happens.  Sometimes schedules change or the universe interferes with your plans.  Please provide us with as much notice as possible so we can provide you with a full refund and hopefully fill your spot.  If the universe doesn’t let you know until five or less days before the course\, then we will give you a full credit towards another course which you\, or someone you choose to transfer it to\, can use within a year.  If your financial situation is such that you just really need the money to be put back into your account\, then give us a call and we will provide a refund less any admin costs incurred through Pay Pal or Invoicing.
