Peacemaking Dialogue
This course focuses on the skills of negotiation for resolving interpersonal conflicts and understanding how to apply the components of an interest-based negotiation model to helping yourself and your clients clarify issues and focus on and what is most important. Participants will have an opportunity to explore how interest-based dialogue can be culturally appropriate and be used as a bridge between cultures. The Bear Paw Peacemaking model has incorporated the theory of interest-based negotiation as a means of valuing the relational roots of indigenous worldview.
